Our June get together is Thursday, June 7th at “City Limits” in Rock Island. on 9th Street right on 46th Avenue. We start gathering around 5 or 5:30. Please come and enjoy the company of your old classmates. We have been seeing many class mates coming to our get to together lately.
Our Last Reunion committee meeting was be held on Thursday Sept. 9th at the”City Limits” 4514- 9th Street Rock Island at 5:00 pm. At this last meeting we had quite a few classmates attend the meeting. Thanks all of you who attended.
We will not probably have any meetings for several years, unless there is a special need, then I will post it here.
The class of 1965 meets the first Thursday of every month at “Various” locations in Rock Island and Milan. We meet at around 5:00 to 5:30 and most of us eat Various Menu Selections. Come join us for a drink after work or a full meal after a day of yard work…. Come join with your class members and have an evening of fun!!
We had our 45th Class Reunion on the 11th of September at the Rock Island Holiday Inn. There were over 175 people attending. It was nice seeing all of the classmates that attended. Thanks to all from the committee. It was also nice to hear the music from “The Night People” who played at the Draft House when we were Seniors.
Friday night, the 10th, we had our casual Get Together at the Rock Island Elk’s lodge at 7:00pm. This was well attended also with about 135 people there. The committee brought snacks for all. They were very good and plentful for everyone to enjoy. There was a “keg” provided by a couple of class members for your enjoyment.
